Dundee Science Centre is the only UK science centre based on the 5 senses and it's a terrific spot for curious kids of all ages! If the kids thought science was boring they can think again! Sensation brings science to life in dozens of imaginative ways that are guaranteed to inspire, intrigue and fascinate the kids.

Olympia Leisure Centre. This cool pool’s highlights include a bunch of cutting edge flume slides with visual effects, rapid river, a wave pool and tickly seated bubble beds! Younger children can look forward to splashing around in their toddler pool with smaller slides and fun interactive features, plus zero depth beach entry and plenty of room for the grown-ups to play with them.

Discovery Point. Hands on interactive features, audiovisual shows, computer based multimedia and fascinating displays of artefacts will draw your family into the rich history of the Discovery: Captain Scott's remarkable Antarctic expedition vessel! Fantastic extra credit material for school goers and fascinating fare for everybody else.

Verdant Works. The rattle and the roar of original restored machinery transport you back over 100 years to an era when jute was king and Dundee was its realm. This 5-star award-winning attraction is a hands-on experience for everyone. Multimedia technology lets you touch the lives of the Mill workers. Interactive displays demonstrate how jute fibre was grown and how it is woven. It's a unique journey that brings the past alive!

Avertical World Climbing Centre is good fun whether you are already an experienced climber or want to try something new.

There are plenty of routes for all abilities to try and they are updated regularly so you can have a new challenge. It is a really friendly environment, the staff are great and always on hand to help you learn and develop your climbing skills.

Kids' Club sessions are held every Saturday and Sunday morning and also on Thursdays during the school holidays. Or you can climb with your family and friends, or yourself from the age of 14.
