Craigowl Primary, P6Back to Dundee Ambassadors
Dundee's newest ambassadors, Craigowl Primary School's P6 pupils were encouraged to 'be all they can be' when they were treated to a series of talks by prominent Dundee people who are working in their home city.
During a week long career's initiative, musician Ged Grimes, footballer Scott Robertson and representatives from Insights Learning and Development gave the P6 pupils a first-hand account of why Dundee is a great place to stay and do business.
The pupils were asked to sum up what they like about their city. Some of the comments included:
"Dundee has lots of places to go to with good landmarks and big parks."
"I like Dundee because Dundee United's Stadium is here."
"We are close to the Countryside."
"We have a great beach."
"I love the shops."
"I like the museums."
"I like it because we have a good football team."
"Great Observatory."
"Has good schools, like Craigowl."
"I Like Dundee's swimming pool."
"I like the Discovery."
"I like Dundee because there is loads to discover."
"I love it!!"
To mark the end of the event, the pupils were presented with t-shirts adorned with the Dundee One City Many Discoveries logo as part of the drive to encourage them to take a pride in their city.
