Last night of the Scottish Proms
The last night of the proms Concert in Scotland is being beamed live onto a big screen in City Square on Saturday 11 September 2010.
It will feature artists including Nicola Benedetti, Lesley Garrett, guitarist Paul Galbraith and the BBC Symphony Orchestra conducted by Garry Walker.
Hosted by television and radio presenter Kaye Adams, the conclusion of the annual BBC Proms season is visiting Dundee for the first time.
Gates open at 6pm and tickets, with a maximum of four per person, are available in person at Dundee City Box Office, 6 City Square or by email at citybox@dundeecity.gov.uk.
Tickets for the outdoor screen event are free of charge and in keeping with the spirit of the Proms there are standing "promenade" tickets with very limited seating capacity which will be available on the night on a first come first served basis.
