man ALIVE Studios is an award winning media production company based on Dundee's Perth Road. Founded in 2006 by its creative directors Liam Johnston Stuart Hamilton and James Law, man ALIVE has grown from making small independent films to securing contacts with national organisations such as the NHS, the Scottish Socialwork Service, the Scottish Care Commission, as well as the local Universities, local businesses and charities.
In 2008 man ALIVE's short film Matt, Ben and Buscemi won the international Comedy Smalls Award in association with Paramount Comedy and at a London award ceremony, Liam and Stuart accepted their prize.
The man ALIVE guys continue to write comedy as well as drama and have an active presence on youtube with multiple channels catering for their differing styles of work.
The man ALIVE Studios portfolio is rich with a variety of projects from Corporate Advertising and Promotion to Live Event filming as well as a catalogue of Music Videos, Comedy Sketches and short films.
The man ALIVE guys are constantly taking on new commissions and projects and take a creative approach to all of their video production work.

Influences / Inspirations
Liam Johnston and Stuart Hamilton currently run man ALIVE Studios from their office on the Perth Road.
Since becoming friends at Dundee's Gate Church International in 2003 they have pursued their shared, long-time dream of working in the film industry by trying their hand first at producing short amateur films in their spare time as they worked and studied in Dundee.
Although their beginnings were humble and the films they produced were not much more than home videos, they persevered, studying the art of cinema in their spare time, practising and improving their craft and finally with the help of their friend James Law, an animator, they founded man ALIVE Studios and discovered that it was now possible for them to make a living producing films.
