Top Award for Life Sciences Firm

A Dundee Life Science company scooped a top business leadership prize at a Scottish Enterprise awards ceremony last night.

At the Life Sciences Awards dinner in Edinburgh, Axis Shield was selected for its advancement in the industry last year, having negotiated the economic downturn and made significant progress.

Ian Gilham, Chief Executive of Axis-Shield said "Since the inception of Shield Diagnostics as a spin-out from the University of Dundee in the early 1980's we have gone from strength to strength and we are now producing substantial sustainable revenue and profits are quoted on the London and Oslo Stock Exchange.
