Dundee is now home to one of Scotland’s newest leisure pools and The Olympia is the number one destination for people looking to make a splash when visiting Dundee.

The leisure pool includes a rapid river, wave pool and seated bubble beds, while younger children and families can look forward to splashing around in the toddler’s pool with smaller slides and fun interactive features.

Those who like their swimming more natural can participate in organised sessions in the river, seaside and in reservoirs locally with life guards on hand.

Just outside the city boundary Monikie Country Park offers twice weekly sessions over the summer and Ye Ancient Amphipeans Bathing Association (YABBA) offer training sessions, events and even a New Years dook.

Rivers

From fly fishing to boat trips and everything inbetween, the stunning River Tay offers a variety of river activities.

Take part in dolphin spotting trips, kayaking, water skiing, wind surfing and sailing, to name but a few.

Broughty Ferry

Situated just four miles to the east of Dundee city centre lies the seaside suburb of Broughty Ferry.  Known as "the jewel in Dundee's crown", its fine seafront esplanade and sweeping sands provide the perfect place for a relaxing stroll or a picnic.
