‘Crisp lines, sharp construction, a landscape of geometric shapes'

My jewellery designs are influenced by pattern and structure found in and around cities. My research and sketchbook work has led me to have an interest in repeating parts to build up a finished piece using mainly precious metals and sometimes wood.   I often oxidise silver, which is a technique that turns it black, to give it a more industrial appearance to link in with my research. I like to use wire and sheet metal to create structures combined with semi precious stones to add a blast of colour and a striking impact.

My pieces reflect architectural aesthetics that have been developed to create sculptural yet wearable jewellery available for woman of all ages. The prices in my degree show collection range from £195 to £495.

Cube link neck chain.

This neck chain has been handmade with silver wire to create wonky cube structures, which are repeated and linked together to build up the piece.

Ring with topaz stone

This piece has been constructed completely by hand with wire, sheet silver and wood.

These simple but stylish rings have been made in silver with gold plated detail.

This brooch is made from silver and has a series of hollow handmade cubes soldered onto a solid silver grid casting.

Purple Heart wood and Silver Brooch.

This brooch has been made with purple heart wood, which has been engraved into with a technology called laser cutting.
