Golf

Dundee and its surrounds are a golfer’s paradise.

The city offers 2 good quality municipal courses (both with 9 and 18 holes ) at Caird Park and Camperdown Park.

Cycling

With the Sidlaw hills just outside Dundee, there is plenty going on, and available for all cycling tastes, road, track, time trial, mountain bike, cyclo cross and duathlons.

Dundee also has a green circular which provides a route to cycle round the city in a 26 mile route with helpful signs pointing out places of interest along the way.

Running

Running in Dundee is a popular pursuit. You can run up hill, along the coast, out into the countryside or remain in an urban environment - whatever takes your fancy. The city boasts several running clubs which meet regularly and welcome visitors:

Rivers

From fly fishing to boat trips and everything inbetween, the stunning River Tay offers a variety of river activities.

Take part in dolphin spotting trips, kayaking, water skiing, wind surfing and sailing, to name but a few.

Dundee is now home to one of Scotland’s newest leisure pools and The Olympia is the number one destination for people looking to make a splash when visiting Dundee.

The Space

The Space is a £5million community project, providing a multi-purpose performance, training and conference venue at Dundee and Angus College’s Kingsway Campus.

This dramatic building is home to the Scottish School of Contemporary Dance, offering workshops, summer schools, training to a professional level as well as performances.
