Our free shows will amaze and excite audiences of all ages.  The city centre will come alive with street theatre, aerialists on giant swings and an interactive marble run.  All our shows have a participatory element so come and have a play!


The Swings 

Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th July

‘Life was never better on a swing, the higher the better!’

Come and enter our world of The Swings.  Watch as our aerialists swing, climb, play and perform.  Then the Swings are open to you to experience.

A 5m high giant swing set, 2 swings, 2 aerialists and a sound installation where you can play, watch, and listen.  An interactive event for all the family.    @AllorNothingADT

Dennis and Gnasher - is there a more iconic duo? 

Saturday 16th (2pm & 3pm) & Sunday 17th (12.30pm & 1.30pm)  July

These two have been side-by-side for over 70 years, and they’re still the best of pals!

The pair are on a mission to tidy up the town and gather up some mysterious mutant tomatoes, but oh dear! It’s all going a bit wrong! Can Dennis and Gnasher work together to put it right again?

Join Shaper/Caper for a dance celebration of this special friendship between a boy and his dog, featuring performances by professional dancers and a wonderful community cast.

Marble Awareness Roadshow 

Thursday 21st - Sunday 24th July

The United Nations Board of Significant Inspiration continues their research in Scotland, connecting with inspirational people and places with their Marble Awareness Roadshow!  Join them for interactive marble run making; experience their giant marble run machines, and be a part of their Guinness World Record attempts as they share inspiration one super-charged marble at a time!
