DMC Diwali 2019
Diwali, the Indian Festival of Light is coming to Dundee this year again. Organized by the Dudhope Multicultural Centre Arts Project team, this evening will be full of fun, dance and drama. Dance performance by Bharatiya Ashram dancers and guests will run for 60 mins with 30 minutes interval for food and drinks. The show will end with our Ramleela production commissioned by Scottish Indian Arts Forum based in Edinburgh.Come and see how Lor Rama rescue his wife Sita from the demon King Ravana with the help of his brother Laxman and Hanuman, the Monkey god who has super power like flying or lifting a mountain. Tickets are for performance only. Food and drink will be available to purchase. Food provider Shri Krishna Sweets Aberdeen will provide a selection of Paav Bhaji, Onion Bhaji and Samosa to purchase price range £2 to £6 per plate. Please note that we can only accommodate 110 seated guests and we advise you to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Online pre-order are not available and no ticket will be sold on the day. Tickets must be purchased from the office before 14th November 1pm or online via eventbrite before 15th November at 5pm.
