Glamis Castle Forgaing Course
We'll be meeting in the car park at 12pm. The course starts there with a 20 minute introduction on how to forage safely and sustainably, and a brief of the general countryside codes where they relate to Thistleforagers. We will then set off for a slow walk around the Castle grounds identifying the different edible and poisonous plants, flowers, fruits and mushrooms that we find. Well stop for some lovely homemade refreshments along the way, such as our wild mushroom soup, fruit leathers or elderflower champagne. After a 2-3 hour walk we'll head back to the pub for a tatsy wild food lunch including a salad that well pick on the day, a mushroom dish we will cook in front of you and some other treats that well bring along with us. There are limited spaces available so please book your place online.
