River Tay

There is no better way to see the city and its wildlife than taking a trip along the famous River Tay. Numerous tour operators offer trips from March to September. Bottlenose dolphins and seals are regular visitors to the estuary, and the famous hump back whale still remains part of Dundee folklore.  There are also a number of other water based activities:

Camperdown Park, Wildlife Centre & Historic House

Located on the northwest fringe of Dundee, Camperdown Country Park is open all year and offers a range of activities including woodland trails, 18 hole championship golf course, Pitch and Putt course, an adventure playground and Camperdown Wildlife Centre where you can see European brown bears, wolves, lynx and ring tailed lemurs.
