Dundee Science Centre

Dundee Science Centre is a visitor attraction & educational charity promoting hands-on learning that explores the wonders of science through interactive exhibits and an immersive experience for all ages.

Challenge your design skills in 'We are Inventing', explore the wonders of the natural world in 'We are Discoverin'g and try your hand at heart surgery in the 'Medical Marvels' augmented reality operating room.  All exhibits are designed to inspire the scientist in all of us.

Exhibits are open year-round Wednesday 11am - 2pm and weekends sessions 9am - 5.30pm as well as on selected dates during school holidays.  Visitors are advised to pre-book tickets for your selected session in advance through the Dundee Science Centre website.

Opening Times

Wednesdays:  11am - 2pm

Weekends:   9am - 11.30am, 12noon - 2.30pm and 3pm - 5.30pm

The Café and Gift Shop are open everyday 9am-4pm.

River Tay

There is no better way to see the city and its wildlife than taking a trip along the famous River Tay. Numerous tour operators offer trips from March to September. Bottlenose dolphins and seals are regular visitors to the estuary, and the famous hump back whale still remains part of Dundee folklore...
