Event Stand-Up Comedy Special with Stephen Carlin

On Friday 3rd November the fantastic Stephen Carlin returns to Number 57 for a double-length headline show, with hosting from Graham Mackie. Chosen as one of Stewart Lee’s ‘Ten Best Stand-Up Comedians Ever’, legendary Scottish comedian Stephen Carlin has gained critical acclaim and a growing fan base with his original, insightful material and accomplished delivery. He’s featured on BBC’s Comedy Underground and Comedy Central’s Alternative Comedy Experience, and has toured with Stewart Lee, Stephen Merchant and Tom Stade. Also a veteran comedy writer, Stephen has written for many BBC Shows including the Now Show and the Newsquiz. Your host for the night is four-time Scottish Comedian of the Year finalist and seasoned comedy circuit stalwart Graham Mackie. Down to Earth and just plain funny is the only way to describe Graham, who has drawn his best material from his dysfunctional home life and his eventful teaching career.
