From the society that brought you ‘Shrek’, ‘Sunshine on Leith’ and ‘Kinky Boots’, Downfield Musical Society bring you their latest presentation ‘Guys and Dolls’ to the Whitehall Theatre stage. ‘Guys and Dolls’ is an award-winning musical set in the colourful world of 1950s New York City. It revolves around the antics of gamblers and their romantic escapades. Just like the 1955 film adaptation starring Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando, the show is filled with memorable songs such as ‘Luck Be A Lady’ and ‘Sit Down You’re Rocking The Boat’ and explores themes of love, luck, and redemption, all in the backdrop of the high-stakes world of underground gambling.
