A Conversation with Ian Kennedy: 70 years as a Freelance Artist!

Dundee Art Society are hosting a Friday evening talk, a Conversation with Ian Kennedy. His drawing and painting skills are truly amazing and he's still working freelance at the age of 89!! Honestly, he completes two commission pieces per month! His drawings are collected all over the world and I'm sure you'll recognise some of the many characters he's created. He's a bit of a character himself and it promises to be a memorable evening. We'll have a few chosen works for you to to see close up and a screen show while he's being interviewed by Fiona Haddow a fellow artist and neighbour of Ian's. Ian will also leaf through his sketch books while I film over his shoulder and he's got lots of tips for accuracy and composition that transfer across a wide range of painting styles.
