As part of the event preparations and to ensure public safety, there will be several road closures in effect.

Christmas Switch-on and Dundee Santa Dash

Full Closures – 08.00 AM – 9.00 PM

High Street, Dundee (Reform Street to Commercial Street)

Reform Street, Dundee (from High Street to Bank Street
 

Temporary Rolling Closure for the Santa Dash – 08.00 AM – 12.30 PM (latest)

West Bell Street (Police HQ access road to Constitution Road)

Constitution Road

Ward Road (North Lindsay Street to Reform Street)

Reform Street

Bank Street

Barrack Street

Panmure Street

Meadowside (Royal Exchange Lane to Panmure Street)

Murraygate

Commercial Street (Seagate to Meadowside)

High Street (Commercial Street to Reform Street)
 

Santa Dash Details:

Start and End Location: City Square, Dundee

Start Time: 10.30 AM

Estimated time of temporary closure: 08.00 AM – 12.30 PM (4.5 hours)

Road parking restrictions will be in effect on Reform Street and Bank Street from 6 PM on Saturday 15 November.

Sunday 30 November

Full Closures – 08.00 AM – 10.30 PM

Temporary Rolling Closure for the Parade – 5.30 PM – 6.30 PM (latest)

Meadowside, between Albert Square and Commercial Street

Commercial Street, Dundee, DD1 3EJ

Murraygate, Dundee, DD1 2AZ

Purpose: To allow safe passage of the parade
Road parking restrictions will be in effect on Reform Street and Bank Street from 6 PM on Saturday 29 November
 

Parade Details:

Start and End Location: High School of Dundee playground, Euclid Crescent, Dundee

Start Time: 5.30 PM

Please note that emergency access will be maintained at all times throughout the events.
