In collaboration with Dundee City Council‘s ‘Design your Dundee (Christmas)’ and as part of RIAS Festival of Architecture 2018, 4th Year Interior Environmental Design students from DJCAD welcome you to come and see their interactive installation project, ‘Central Dis-Chord’. The students are exploring the issue of underused city centre space and a shifting city centre considering the newly developing Waterfront.
Our twinkling procession’s theme for this year is Wind and Water – spot the themed lanterns through the procession. Join in by making your own lanterns at our workshops in November (Saturday 3rd & 10th and Sunday 4th & 11th, from 11am, free, to book email: email@example.com)
Or if you’re over 18, hold a live flame aloft in the procession. Accompanied by the brilliant SambaYaBamba. Our annual procession, made by and for the people of Dundee, will proceed from the McManus Galleries, along Commercial Street and into City Square.

Mini Lights Switch On
Albert Square, 6.45pm
Enjoy the countdown on screen beamed live from City Square and celebrate as we light up Pingoo the loveable Christmas penguin. A less busy event for those with wee ones or those who enjoy more breathing room. Kids can stay and enjoy the disco tent after the lights are on.
Massive Christmas Ceilidh
City Square, 7pm after Lights Switch On
Get your dancing shoes at the ready and grab your neighbour in a massive Christmas Ceilidh. Led by the fabulous Skyrie - your toes will tap and your arms will swing to the beat. Grab a warming drink at the bar and enjoy the festive fun.

WHO’S BEEN SLEEPING IN MY BREAKFAST? The animals in a Bethlehem stable wake up and relive the exciting events of the previous night. A new script by Jerry Averill; funny, thought-provoking and for all ages.
